You just need to be sure that you have one of the continuous shooting modes set. It will be greyed out if it's on single shot or timer.

Stick with it, the R6 MKII is great product, the low light, high ISO performance is hard to beat.

 I’ve just read that there’s a firmware bug that causes exactly what you describe, if you’re using firmware 1.2.0 I’d suggest you update to the latest, which is 1.3.1 right now. Otherwise, check if you have hit the 999 file limit as mentioned above. ...
