Pixma MX860 cannot connect

I have a Pixma MX860 and am moving from wired to wireless.  I have followed all the instructions to connect to my Mac.  It does show that I am connected to the WiFi, but when I try to print, it says the printer is not conected to the Mac.

Can someone please help?

Hello.

What version of Mac OSX is on the computer?  To find out, click the Apple at the top of your screen and choose "About this Mac".

I am using version 12.2.1 and I'm trying to find out if my MX860 is compatible with my iMac or if I need to buy a new printer
