Flash recommendations for Canon EOS RP

Hello everyone! I am looking to invest in a flash as I am looking to enhance my photography in general and I freelance. I’ve been asked to shoot some small events so I think it’s time I got a flash.

I have a Canon eos RP and I am looking for budget friendly flashes. I don’t really want to break the bank quite yet as it’s going to be my first flash.

Do you have a budget for a speedlite. All of Canon's speedlites ending in "EX" are compatible. Also the EL-1 and EL-100 are also fully compatible. The EL-5 is NOT compatible with your camera. It is designed for newer EOS R series cameras with a new multi function hot shoe.
