Flash recommendation for EOS R6?

Best budget flash for an R6? I’m new to using a flash and would rather practice with something on the lower budget size. Maybe around $100?

The EL-100 or 430EX-III RT are good choices.

I checked Canon for new and refurbished stock, none are available.  B&H has the 430EX-III RT.

KEH has both.  The 430EX-III RT is $134 with its 20% discount (at the moment).  I'd go that route.

Yes all Canon brand speedlites will communicate all settings to the camera. It will also have the ability execute E-TTL (Auto mode for the flash). The camera’s metering system determines flash power. Then the speedlite will fire the correct amount of light that the camera told it to. Other features in the speedlite are High Speed Sync (HSS)/ FP Flash. Then 2nd/ rear curtain sync.
