An advantage to using a recent version of Canon DPP software on an old CR2 file, is the use of "digital lens optimizer" and also the knowledge I have acquired since I made the photo.

Steller sea lions (Eumetopias jubatus) were resting on floating ice from a glacier in Chugach National Forest near Whittier, Alaska, United States on August 7, 2019. The Steller sea lion Western population is listed as an endangered species.
