I made it my mission to see and capture a bald eagle this year - little did I know it would happen in my mother's backyard!

Subject was backlit against an overcast sky with the sun low - these required quite a bit of post to make them presentableeagle_bald_chapin_26_04_24_L0A0570.jpgeagle_bald_chapin_26_04_24_L0A0571.jpgeagle_bald_chapin_26_04_24_L0A0534.jpgeagle_bald_chapin_26_04_24_L0A0567.jpg

Congrats on the win!  Great shots.  There's almost nothing better than serendipity.

Talk about the Kodak moment! Great photos and great that you were able to track the eagle for several photos. I see eagles and osprey all the time at my favorite fishing spot. Alas, never had the camera.
