My dad had created this artwork piece and from time to time, I revisit photographing it.
I used my new Profoto strobes (2). One overhead in a 3' octa with grid. And the other just above the floor and facing into the white side of a V-flat. Seamless black background. And a second V-flat opposite the first to provide just a subtle highlight on the left side of the base.
EOS 5D IV with EF 135mm f/2L. f/8, 1/200s, ISO 100.

Very nice photo and creative lighting setup. Are those, by any chance, turned on a lathe?

Thanks, John. The flower parts were turned on a lathe.

I do some woodturning. The flowers look paper thin. My complements to your father.
