I was fortunate enough to travel to North centeral canada this summer to the Algonquin Radio Observatory's 46meter (150') onservatory dish to do some night photography with my 6D. here is a 7 image panorama I captured of the full arch of the milky way and the dish together. For scale the little light below the dish inthe loer lift is a 2 story house. #summer

WOW! Very nice! I get excited shooting the stars down here in Kentucky, so I can't imagine further up north! VERY NICE!

I hadn't been home to NYC in three years, due to living on the west coast, so when I moved back to DC, I jumped at the chance to take a weekend trip home and do some shooting. I shot this with my Canon 6D, 70-200mm f/2.8 at f/5.6, 1/30 ss, 125 ISO, handheld.

We got soooo very lucky while in the Algonquin Provincial Park this summer with a major Aurorao display that made the entire sky dance. Shot with my Canon 6D this is a 4 image panorama of the Algonquin radio telescope's 46m (150') dish and the auroroa tower high above. It was a nigth I will never forget! #summer #teamcanon
