What Rick said, settings help others when taking similar shots. Great shots in flight.

I'm using an R7 body and RF100-500mm F4.5-7.1 L IS USM lens for wildlife/action. Not sure of the settings without going back and looking at exif, but my initial setting for BIF is 1/2500s, 400mm, f7.1, Animal Eye "on", Auto ISO with an upper limit of 12800, I think I'm on AF scenario #2 (could be mistaken), mechanical shutter (due to rolling shutter on the R7). With a slow moving bird I can adjust my shutter speed, but with a shot like the dive bomb I probably didn't have time to adjust my shutter and was just trying to keep the subject in frame. For most other photography I use either an R6II or and old Sony AR72.
