Outstanding photo! We hiked one trail in the Great Smoky Mountains NP which is noted for a number of peregrine falcons. Sadly, we didn't see any that trip.

Thank you for your comment.  I know what you mean when you say:  "We hiked one trail in the Great Smoky Mountains NP which is noted for a number of peregrine falcons. Sadly, we didn't see any that trip".   We had a similar experience this September, when we went to Lake Tahoe hoping to shoot some bald eagles as they migrate south for the winter and sadly we didn't see any.  It's all about being in the right place at the right time and being ready.  "It's like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get"
