Leopard in deep thoughts

Canon 5d Mark III, Canon 400mm f/2.8, Shutter 1/1250, f/5, ISO 250.

She was moving around looking for her cub, who was hiding somewhere nearby. She had a carcass up in a nearby tree and was calling the cub to join her to feed. May be because of the presence of vehicles the cub was reluctant to come out. After few futile attempts she sat down as if to think about her next strategy.

As a fellow wildlife photographer, I can appreciate a good image.  This is lovely: good exposure, great separation from the background and yet we get some idea of how the animal's camouflage allows it to blend in.
