Inside the walls of the Alhambra fortress.  The Alcazaba is the oldest part of the Alhambra, built atop of the remnants of an ancient castle.  The area was used for military purposes, the entire Alhambra was defended from the Alcazaba.  The central area contained the military quarters, where some of the officers and some of the guards recided.
