Canon EOS 90D Rokinon lens manual focus

Taking the AI out of my photography what's a plus and a minus The plus was I can do it myself and then the minus was I can't see far enough to do it myself. But with manual focus speaking which my 90d does I get a clear shot with a manual lens I guess that's the only AI I  am using.
