All done with my new Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM Lens and my Canon eos M50 None are perfect I know, but I am learning and enjoying the new lens. I send my camera in yesterday to get the screen fixed after it fell and got cracked, I am going to go nuts not having a camera for a few weeks.

Using the camera and going through the manual is a good way to learn. You're off to a good start with those photos. The flower could improve with the proper depth of field. I'm also working on that as my wife and sister-in-law have lots of flowers.

It was a bit windy the day I took the picture of the flowers, especially the one looking down into the flower, I was shooting between gusts. I do agree I need to understand depth of field better. I have read the manuals, they are more confusing than they are good though.

I ran into the same thing with my SIL's flowers. It was windy so I put my T7 on manual and adjusted the speed to about 1200. Need to check to see the exact settings.

My settings were 100mm f/5.6 1/1250 500 ISO I wish they were still up, I would have liked to experimented with different F/Stops now that I am thinking on it. Oh yes I was also shooing in Manual mode and if I remember right from a tripod.
