XA10 How to split XLR audio channels

CTValleyViews

when recording, I use XLR inputs 1&2.

The audio is one channel when I download file to edit software. Can I split the channels in the video, and have the ability to manage each seperately?

See the manual page 74, "Setting the XLR Terminal".  Do you have the "CH1" option set to "CH1/CH2"?  If so, that's your problem.

Normally you should set this to "CH1 -> CH1"; then each XLR input is recorded to a separate audio channel (left and right), and you can split them or treat them separately in post.

Thank you. The file has both channels together with the video. I will have to see if I can split the audio.

Will check back.
