Canon Pro100 continous clicking and flahing back and fourth

My canon pro100 was making loud clicking noises and not working. It's done this before, and all I had to do was remove the print head and clean it, and fill all the ink tanks. This time the problem is different. It still does the loud clicks initially, but then when the print head with the cartridges moves over towards the right side, it just stops, and starts clicking continuously over and over. When I tried cleaning it or printing a test page, I got the 5100 code. Well, there is no paper jam, the ink cartridges are full, and loaded properly, the encoder strip is clean as well. I am in immediate need of assistant! I own a screen printing service, and I have to use this printer to make my film positves, and I have orders waiting to be printed as we speak. All I can think of, is that maybe I need a new printer head....or a whole new printer. If anyone has had the same problem, and knows what the solution is, please let me know! It would be greatly appreciated beyond words.
