imageCLASS MF455dw - Canon MF Scan Utility ERROR

accountingrw
Apprentice

I have downloaded all of the drivers needed but when I click on the Canon MF Scan Utility app this error pops up

"No available scanner found. Follow the instructions in the User's Guide for the scanner driver to add the scanners you are using."

I have done all the troubleshooting I could and nothing is working to get my scanner to work - please help!

Thank you

Greetings accountingew,

Please tell us the software you downloaded?

Canon Support for imageCLASS MF455dw | Canon U.S.A., Inc.

When you open the MF Scan Utility, does the scanner appear in the top right-hand cornet?

Also open Image Capture.  Is the scanner available there?

How is the printer connected and to what?  USB, wired ethernet, wireless?

If you look at the device properties in Printer and Scanners. is it using the Canon Drivers or AirPrint for the driver?
