I have "retried" a dozen times, following the instructions each time, and I also tried 2 different BRAND NEW USB cables (one of which came with the printer), and keep getting the same error. I downloaded both the manual, and the drivers. I "Retried" between downloads, and after, but got the same error. The setup wizard stops at that point, and I am left with a NON-OP printer. My setup is strictly NON-wireless, or I would have tried THAT, too. Any advice would be appreciated.
OS: WIN 10 on a PC tower
Printer: ImageCLASS LBP6030w

Did you try other USB ports on the computer?

Yes, 3 of them, and all three worked with other peripherals.

Same here. I don't think these printers even work. Canon cannot be a serious company. This isn't a professional installation UX.
