I have 2 computers (Windows 10 and Windows 11) that are unable to scan into our software. The software uses a twain interface to scan. I can scan using the Scan utility. I cannot scan using either Twack32 or the software in the office. When I try, I get an error message saying that "Cannot communicate with the scanner".
The printer is connected with a wired ethernet connection with a static IP address. I have tried installing the drivers as the UFC II and PCL6. Same results each time.
I have verified the firmware version is 4.01. I have tried installing the printer and scan utility. Rebooted, and then installed the drivers as found on this forum post https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/Office-Printers/ImageClass-mf455dw-scanner-software-not-installed...
