MX860 printer works with existing/old MacBook pro running Mac OS 10.6.8.
Recently bought a new Macbook running Mac OS 10.13.6 and am unable to add the printer. I've downloaded the Canon IJ Network Tool 4.7.1 and completed that installation. I'm able to see my printer within the Canon IJ Network Tool, and receive the pop-up menu indicating the "computer setup has been completed".
However, the dialog box for adding the printer within "system preferences" does not show the MX 860 printer when trying to add it.
Not sure how to add the printer to connect to my new MacBook. Any help is appreciated.
