Trouble Installing imageCLASS MF452dw on new Lenovo computer

Installing an ImageCLASS MF452dw laser printer that I have had for 2 years on a new Lenovo Yoga AIO 9 32IRH8 computer. Computer doesn't find the printer on the wireless network and connecting via USB hasn't worked either.

Does the new computer have an Intel or AMD processor, or an ARM processor? Many new computers have ARMs, and it's a problem because some software for Intel/AMD-based CPUs is not compatible with ARMs. Canon printers, for example.  The Windows for ARM is different than Windows for Intel/AMD.

ARM owners are stuck with whatever functionality that Windows has built-in, unless and until Canon (and other makers) provide ARM drivers and software.

Thanks. The processor is: 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900H 2.60 GHz. Overnight, I managed to "install" the printer as "Canon Generic Plus UFR II V240", which was the closest driver name I could find. However, the printer shows as being Offline. I have turned it off, unplugged it, waited about a minute, replugged and turned on, and restarted the computer. Still offline. Any ideas?

Greetings,

He'll need the MF Scan Utility as well.

[Windows 32bit & 64bit] MF Scan Utility Ver.1.21.0.2

Install after the one Normadel referenced above. 😉
