I went down the wrong troubleshooting path and "initalized" my printer back to factory settings. Of course after doing so, I then found the Canon warning on how this will make wireless printing impossible to restablish.
So...now my printer can not be detected on the network when i try and reinstall and setup a wireless connection.
What can I do now? Can anyone get be back on the right track?

Hello.
The printer will have to be reconnected to your Wi-Fi router. For details about this process, please visit the following link:

I have encountered the same problem with Windows 11 and a ip8720 printer. The printer was not recognized in Windows 11, I tried to reinstall the software. It continues to retun the message "can't detect printer". Anyone encounter this and have a resolution?
