I'm trying to set up a TS9521Ca and connect it to WIFI. The problem is that I am never prompted by the printer to enter a password so the connection fails. Did anyone else have to deal with this? I called support and they just wanted lots of money. Thank you for any assistance.

We're also having this issue. I wasn't able to find any solutions to this online. Any ideas?

Greetings,
Let me address the original post and your question too 🙂
Canon will occasionally charge a nominal $20 fee to support a product out of warranty. Payments for such are done through your MyCanon account. Support agents will not ask you for a credit card and if they do you are not speaking to Canon. Many people get scammed each year because they think they called Canon, but in fact they contacted a scammer or third party. Be sure to protect yourself from this.
To see your support options for a Canon product, log into your MyCanon account and register the device. You will then be provided with support options.

The TS9521Ca requires a 2.4 GHz wireless broadcast that supports WPA2 encryption. It will not connect to a 5 GHz or other broadcast, or one that uses WPA3 encryption. Please ensure your network meets these requirements.
Hints:
If you have a dual or tri-band router and all broadcasts are using the same SSID name, you can give each broadcast a unique name or temporarily disable the bands that the printer is not able to connect to until a connection is made, then re-enable them.
If you're having difficulty making a connection using the printer's control panel, You can use the printer's Wi-Fi connection assistant software or just rerun the printers setup utility which will allow you to choose a network and set a new password. Both downloads are available on the printers support portal.
