I just bought about a month and a half ago, now it will not connect to WIFI, and it doesn't have a port for usb cable. My computer will not recognize the printer due to not connecting with WIFI. Ive tried all the instructions on the website to no avail. Would a replacement.

Greetings,

Canon doesn't make a printer model TS77722.

I assume this is a typo and you have a TS7722?

What operating system version and build are you planning to use your printer with?

Tell us about your wireless network (hardware, brand, model) and confirm the configuration.  The printer supports 2.4 and 5GHz networks that use WPA2 encryption.  Please ensure your one of your network broadcasts meets these requirements.  Encryption password must be at least 8 characters.

Helpful tips:  Many new routers come pre-configured with WPA3 encryption enabled. The printer will not connect to a network that utilizes WPA3 encryption only.  Most offer the ability to use WPA3 and WPA2 simultaneously for backwards compatibility.

Telling us that you've performed "all the steps you found on the internet" doesn't really help us understand the problem or challenges you are facing.  Did you receive an error message. What was it?  I'll respond with more detailed information with your input.

I don't think you need a replacement device, I think we need to confirm the state of your environment.  🙂

Yes it was the TS7722 It was working before but it’s not now. It’s the same setup as a brother printer that I had earlier with no problems. My computer has no issue connecting to it.

The fact that you think a Pixma 7722 doesn't have a USB port makes me wonder if you have any idea what to do with the printer. Have you read any of the information provided by Canon on the support site:

https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/pixma-ts7722-wireless-home-all-in-one-printer

The Online Manual clearly shows the USB port on the back:

If you can show me where it’s at that would be great

Hello and welcome to the Canon Community!

Please visit https://canon.us/ts7722setup and follow the install guide exactly. If you find you need one-on-one help, please contact support at 1-800-OK-CANON (800-652-2666).

The USB port is just around the corner there, in that notch thing - you can see in the diagram:

I’m so sorry I looked and looked for it and couldn’t find it.

No worries! They hid it very well! 😉

By the way, the install guide I sent you - it will work for wireless and wired (USB), so if I were you, I'd try it wireless first to see if it can help get you up and running on WiFi. If the software can't get the printer online by itself, call support so our team can assist with connecting the printer to your WiFi.
