MX470 Printer - attempted to support friend install the printer as experiencing difficulties. Windows 7 operating system. Using installation disc the software installs and printer works if connected via USB lead. If attempt to print wireless, software states printer off line. Connected printer to wi-fi, input security code, blue light stable (not flashing). Unable to fathom why the pc will not see the printer as 'on line'. Troubleshoot options have not resolved issue. This is a new printer and has never worked wirelessly. any suggestions?
Would it be advisable to uninstall and obtain drivers from the internet... (not use installation disc) if so, is this because a new firmware or fix has been released in the last 12 months?, or am I clutching at straws?
