I have experienced continual problems over probably 12 months with the 'AirPrint' option of my Canon printer.
All the set-up procedures have been checked and double-checked.
The printer tells me it is connecting to my Wireless LAN.
It has been succesully used on a PC running Win10.
Also on a MacBook Air plus an iPad and iPad mini.
Then, the printer suddenly stops working (receiving print instructions) and with messages:-
"Cannot find Air Printer" (Mac use)
"Error Running" (PC)
However if I connect both the PC and MacBook directly with a cable, I can print without any problem.
I normally 'leave it alone' for 48 hours, come back and the printer magically works.
Then, next day, nothing!
I have rebooted all machines and the printer.
I have reset all W-LAN connections.
But still NOTHING.
This is the second Canon 'air-print' machine to give me identical problems - and quite frankly I am running out of patience with the supposedly "quality" brand.
Can anyone give any suggestions before I change to a more reliable manufacturer?
