power shot SX50

I would like to know when and if a new successor camera to the Power Shot SX50 is in the works and if so when will it be outI have the SX20 and am very pleased but now ready to consider an upgrade.

I would also like to know what Canon has planned. I love the zoom capability of the SX50 and anything to get a larger zoom or increase the aperature when zoomed in would be a great change to make. I would be in favor of making the lens larger if this is what it takes.

Not that I'm any more than a hobbyist, but I think that there isn't much room for improvement other than going closer to a dslr than a point and shoot. I really like this camera...butit's been many years since I bought my first digital camera, a Nikon Coolpx 885.
