Hi,
I dug out my powershot A520 and took a few pics and vids, to my suprise, my new macbook air recognize my camera and showed the new pics and the ones that were already on the card. I was albe to email a few pics from iphoto, so everything is great, considering I haven't found my software CD yet.
Here is the problem:
The videos I took will play on my computer, but when I email the videos, they will not play on other computers. I have heard about this MVI file being canons; can someone give me some more insight, and does my CD software have a way of converting the MVI file to something more user friendly?
Thank you for you help!

I'm just wondering what mode the camera is taking the video in, PAL or NTSC? NTSC is the standard for North America and PAL for most of Europe.
