You will need to make sure you have downloaded all of the updates for the Canon software from the Canon USA website below:
http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/digital_cameras/powershot_sd_series/powershot_elph_30...
Without these updates, the software may not work properly with Mac OS 10.7.5.
