I recently purchased an SX270 because I was drawn into its video capabilities. Sure enough, the picture it produces is nice and crisp.
But the audio is awful! There is so much hissing and white noise from the microphone, it completely ruins the 1080P video. What interests me the most though, is that my friend has a SX220 and it records lovely audio, with minimal hiss.
Have I just got a faulty product, or is this just a thing with the SX270/280? And is there anything I can do to reduce this white noise? I can't seem to find an appropiate setting.
