Granted this is an old camera, but it has all the capabilities my wife wants! For some time (although she just told me about it), whenever she powers the camera up, it needs to have the date/time set. She's just been hitting OK, which gets her out of that screen -- however, as a result, all her pictures turn out to have been shot on 1/1/1980! This occurs with fresh batteries, and occurs if the camera has been shut down for as little as 30 seconds. Anyone know of any way to flash/update the operating system or anything?

If you still have the manual, it might tell you if there is a backup battery you can change. Otherwise, you have to live with it.
