SX 280 screen goes black

My SX 280 screen goes black when I attempt to take a photo with the camera turned vertical. What's up (or down)? DennisB

Exactly! I am impressed. I tried it with the polarized sunglasses I always wear and that was precisely the problem. So thank you so much. To sum it up: If your SX 280 screen goes black when shooting in the vertical position, it may be because you are using polarized sunglasses.
