Try another shooting mode to see if you developed a lens problem. Also try taking out the battery and holding the power switch in the on postion for at least 30 seconds

Thanks! I've tried other settings. Taking out the battery and holding the power switch didn't work either. The rep just told me that it will cost $149 plus shipping to fix it. I might end get the powershot s120 instead of fixing it. Thanks again.
