PowerShot SD700 IS Transferring Photos/Videos Without Camera's Accessories

I have an old Canon Camera Powershot SD700 IS DIGITAL ELPH. My husband passed away and I have photos that I want to upload to my Dell Laptop. What's the best way to transfer the photos/videos? I don't have the accessories which came with the camera. Help!

Do you know if your laptop has a built-in SD card reader?  If so, that would be the easiest.  If you don't have a reader, you can purchase one (they are fairly inexpensive) though be sure to purchase one that could physically connect to your laptop.   If you can provide the actual model number of your Dell laptop, we can provide more specifics.
