Power Shot S100 GPS not accurate: places me in Kansas but I live ion Maine. Solutionns?

Power Shot S100 GPS photo tagging coordinates not accurate . Acquires  quickly but way off  . I live in Sebago, Me. and the coordinates have me in SW Kansas.  Is there a reset for the GPS or is this defective?

Are your date, time and time zone set correctly ? Looks like you may have the wrong time zone set.

There is a setting in the GPS menu where you can hvae the time and date set automatically to (Time Update).

If you see the GPS aquiring a signal then that part is working.
