How do I know which EOS I need for a Powershot G9 X for a Mac Airbook?

I haven't used my G9 X in a long time. I've converted from Windows to Macs. I'm finding it impossible to determine which EOS version I need for my Powershot G9 X.  How do I translate Powershot G9 X to an EOS version? Very confusing. Thanks.

I'm not understanding what you're asking here.  Are you trying to connect the camera to your Mac to import photos? To do other tasks?

If all you need to do is import photos and you're having difficulty attaching the camera, I would recommend getting an SD card reader.  Stick with a reputable brand and make sure that it would be able to connect to your particular Mac's USB ports.  Macbook Air's unfortunately don't have SD card slots built-in, thus the need for a separate reader device.

Ricky, I think that is what I'm going to do. Thank you.
