Canon G7x mark iii showing vertical white and black lines on preview screen

I have been searching for anyone else experiencing or who experienced the same and can’t find any information.

 I recently noticed a black line on the preview screen and thought that maybe it was a wrong setting so I turned the camera off and left it for a day and when I turned it back on there were a few more but they don’t show in the pictures.

now there’s lines all over the preview screen I have reset the camera and left it alone for days at a time and no luck.

please help!

This looks like your LCD screen is faulty.  If the camera still works, why not ask Canon for a service quote to see if is worth the cost to have it repaired
