Unfortunately, the AV Out Digital terminal does not support charging.
This accessory can be used to power the camera using household current.

This is a 2015 model. Charging through the USB terminal was not a "thing" that existed back then. Nowadays there are cameras that allow this. You have to look at the specific camera to see if it's possible.
