I had recently found my Canon Powershot SD1100 IS from years ago, and when I tried to take pictures with it they came out blurry. Even after half-pressing the shutter button to focus the lens, it still would be blurry. It would only not be blurry in between zooming in/out. Does anyone know how to fix this?

What distance is your subject(s) from the camera? Are you closer than the minimum focusing distance?
Or, do you have it set on Macro and you are more than 1.6 feet away?

Greetings,
Please perform a main settings reset. Then retest The camera was manufactured in 2008. It's 17 years old. If it doesn't work after the reset, it should be retired.
