Is it possible to set a default folder on the MF735 for scanned documents or folders. I looked in remote ui and it has the favorites and application Library. Is it possible to setup a default directory for photos/documents using one of those. As of now, all my scanned items are ending up in my documents folder. I tried doing it with favorites but failed. TIA
I wish cannon had a video tutorial on the remote UI!!

You should be able to set up a shared folder that can be scanned to. See the details starting on page 93 of the User Manual.
There's some shared folder info regarding Remote UI on page 94.

I followed your manual and the one I just DL'd. My old hp office jet from 2005 that this one replaced asked where you wanted each type of document when you installed the software.
Besides, I just found out that you can't scan photos into the PC and get good results. they come out flat. Odd being that canon is a camera manufacturer!!!!!
