We have a MF654CDW printer on a Windows Server 2008 R2 print server on a network.
A user is running a MAC Mini (late 2014). The printer was working fine until yesterday. It no longer works.
Error message shows, "Unable to communicate with the printer at this time. Unable to connect to (Printer IP) due to an error. Would you still like to create the printer".
I can ping the printer from the MAC. I can also ping the print server from the MAC.
I've tried updating the print drivers on the MAC. I can't seem to find a way to update or even add the MAC drivers for this printer to the print server.
I've removed and readded the printer to the MAC a few times. It does nothing to fix the issue.
Not sure what else to try. My gut tells me it probably has something to do with the age of both OSs, the MAC and the Win Server 2008. Does anyone have any ideas, suggestions?
Thanks!
