Log into the web Remote UI, Settings/Registration, TX Settings, Email/I-Fax Settings, Edit, and enter your SMTP server information, including your email server, user name and password for authentication, and you may have to check the "Use TLS for SMTP TX."  You should then be able to enter any email address to send to on the LCD panel.

Greetings,

To send mail, you have to configure SMTP Tx settings in the remote UI.

Who are you using for relay?

You will need outgoing server name, username, password, port # and encryption type if used.

In my examples below, I am using gmail.

I am using port 587 for SMTP Tx

Example Gmail SMTP Settings
SMTP Server Address: smtp.gmail.com.
Use Authentication: yes.
Secure Connection: TLS/SSL based on your mail client/website SMTP plugin.
SMTP Username: your Gmail account (xxxx@gmail.com)
SMTP Password: your Gmail password. (App Password)
Gmail SMTP port: 465 (SSL) or 587 (TLS)

If you are using gmail or M365, you need to use an App password.  The printer does not support modern authentication.

Then put your frequently used destinations in your address book...  PC's Mac's and email addresses.

Then you can scan / send from the printer's LCD with 2-3 clicks.  😃
