Wireless scanning

We have the Canon MF4800 series All-in-One. We have recently been having issues with scanning to computers in the wireless network. Sometimes the indvidual computers show up, sometimes they don't. Sometimes they show up but error out and other times it works just fine.

If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this your help is greatly appreciated.

Hi, hwehr429!

So that the Community can help you better, we will need to know exactly which operating systems are running on your computers. That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!

If this is a time-sensitive matter, our US-based technical support team is standing by, ready to help 24/7 via Email at http://bit.ly/EmailCanon or by phone at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666) weekdays between 8 AM and 8 PM ET (5 AM to 5 PM PT).

Thanks and have a great day!

Sorry about that. The 4 laptops that we are attempting to scan wirelessly to are 3 Windows 7 and an XP. We recently added a windows 8 desktop but this issue was occuring prior to the addition.

We can scan to the CPU that the printer is directly connected to and share over our network but would like to use the wireless scanning feature. ALL of our computers no matter the operation system can wirelessly fax and print. The only issue we have is with the scanner. We get an error saying to check our connections.
