Scanning extra long documents on a DR-F120

Atomsk
Apprentice

I have several large technincal trawings that I want to scan on my DR-F120, using the automtic feeder.  These drawings measure about 7"x22".

The manual has procedures for scanning "odd sized" documents, but the driver will only accept lengths up to 14".

When I try to scan them with the "scanner maximium" setting, the scanner stops before the whole page gets fed through, with an error saying the feed roller is slipping (it isn't).

The DR-F120 doesn't have the "panorama" feature that many Canon flatbed scanners have, so I can't scan these pagesin pieces and reassemble them.

How can I get my DR-F120 to scan pages more than 14" long?

Hi again,

To locate the Long Docment mode perform the following steps:

1.  Click the Start Button, and then Click "All Programs", "Canon DR-F120" and "Canon imageFORMULA Utility.

2.  Click "Canon DR-F120" and click "Properties".

3.  Select a Long Document mode.

4.  Click OK.
