I have downloaded and installed the scan driver for my MF machine from canon USA, run MF toolbos and when I try to register my scanner under Network Scanner Settings..., clicking the +, and entering my IP address I get the following. I can print to this network printer fine, I can ping the IP address, but through this dialog the scanner cannot be found.
Any ideas? TIA

Hi cdavisafc,
A common cause of the error can be the scanner setting on the laser printer itself.
Please check the scan mode setting to see if an adjustment is needed by pressing the [Scan] button to put the unit into <Network Scanning> mode, (a second press of [Scan] will put it into <USB Scanning> mode).
If this does not resolve the issue, please Contact Us and we will be glad to help you further.

Update. Contacted support and they said only USB scanning is supported with the Mac on this model.
