MX882 All in One printer won't turn on at all.

I checked the outlet and it is live, so not  GFCI or breaker issue. I checked connection to power, too. We had a power failure last week-could it be fried?  If anyone has any ideas,please share!

I saw another post where unplugging the machine for a while worked-and by golly, it DID work!  Back up and running.

Worked for me.  Full procedure:

Unplug machine.

Press power button 5 times

Wait at least 5 minutes.

Plug machine in.

Press power button.

For me, the machine sprang to life and is now working fine again.
