Change the default two sided printing to single side printing. Have a MF726Cdw and using OS10.10.5.

Is there a fix to change the default printing from two sided printing to single?  I have tried to go through CUPs and there is not a way to change the default.  We now have to print payroll checks one by one, rather than batching them.  There is not a selection in the print menu to deslect two sided printing in our payroll program. (Also Acrobat Pro does not have a selection in the print menu to deslect two sided printing) HELP !!!

Check your software application that is performing the printing.  Under most circumstances, printers are configured to allow the application software that is using to control various settings like paper/sheet size, color/mono, fonts, duplex mode, etc.
