I need an all in one (laser) that can print letter and legal sized documents that are intermixed.  Does canon make a machine like that?

I think Canon calls this feature a "multipurpose tray". They vary in capacity, but here are some of the multifunctions that have it:

Or, you could try searching for "optional cassette" which could possibly be a much larger paper tray add-on for your needs.
