Hello,
The E03 error on a Canon Selphy CP1500 usually indicates a paper jam or a problem with the paper or paper cassette. If the printer is turning off immediately after showing the error, it could point to a power issue or a more serious hardware fault. Here's a troubleshooting checklist to help:
1. Check the Paper Cassette
Remove the cassette: Take out the paper cassette and ensure no paper is stuck inside.
Inspect the cassette: Look for any bent, torn, or improperly loaded paper.
Reload the paper: Reload the paper correctly, ensuring it lies flat and the glossy side is facing up (or as instructed in the manual).
2. Inspect the Printer
Look inside the printer: Open any accessible panels and check for jammed paper or debris. A flashlight might help.
Check the rollers: Ensure the rollers inside the printer are clean and free of debris. Use a lint-free cloth lightly dampened with water or isopropyl alcohol to clean them if needed.
Best Regards
