How do I connect my android tablet to a Selphy CP 1500 printer when there is no internet

I wish to take the printer to fairs and festivals to print aura photos and internet isn't always available. How can I connect my adroid tablet to the Selphy CP 1500 printer without internet?

Thanks for joining the conversation, lisa3540!  Your SELPHY CP1500 can communicate directly with your Android device without the need for a router or internet access.  The printer's manual covers how to set up a direct connection without a router on page 59 and how to get it to talk to your Android device on page 64.  We've got it available as a PDF right here.
